Our little sweetie turned 8 weeks yesterday! She is smiling and laughing all the time now, which just melts our hearts. She already has her daddy totally wrapped around her finger. I swear he holds her ALL the time and she of course loves it! We enjoyed a visit from MeMe Monday night, she brought us sushi take-out and it was so yummy! It was my first taste of sushi since giving birth and man was it good! We had spicy tuna rolls, spicy salmon rolls and philly rolls. Next time I will have to have it with a Sapporo or Asahi though,that was all we were missing!
Tuesday we enjoyed a visit from my colleague Charlotte, who was in the area visiting a doctor's office. She stopped by to see us for awhile, it was nice to have some adult conversation during the day when I am usually here with just the two kiddos! Gabriel loved her and is already asking when she can come back to see him again!
We are looking forward to a fun weekend...we have Jackson's 2nd birthday party on Saturday, then we will be watching the Tarheels play on Sunday afternoon before the Super Bowl. Cedric has an exam on Monday so I don't think we will be doing a whole lot of partying!
