The Big Game

We are gearing up around here for the big game tonight! I am nervous as heck. We have been playing SUPER lately, and I just hope we can keep it up. If we do, I think we have a good shot at getting the "W"! We will all be tuned in at 9:00, GO HEELS!

On another note, we are taking E to the doctor today for her first round of shots, YUCK. I always hate this :( I am curious to see her weight/height, I think she has been growing like CRAZY!

We had a great weekend! Went to Jackson's 2nd birthday party on Saturday, then Cedric, E, and I went to dinner at one of my favorite spots, BJs Cheesesteak#ry in Mooresville (Gabriel went home with Aunt Janie after the party). Elizabeth slept through the entire dinner, she was worn out from the party I guess. I had a yummy grilled chicken salad and the beer sampler. They have an awesome draft beer selection. For $5, you can get 4 oz of 4 different beers. So fun to do and a good way to see if you like something without being stuck with a yucky beer (not that I come across many I don't like!) Cedric even tasted the beers, I am still trying to convert him into being a beer drinker like me!

Sunday our house slept in and skipped church. Gabriel was up WAY late the night before (1 am-ish)...Cedric went over to my cousin's house to watch the UFC pay per view, and I just could not get Gabriel to go to sleep. I put in a movie thinking that would do the trick... and of course I fell asleep. He woke me up when it was over! Needless to say, we were tired on Sunday morning. I hit Wally world, which was way worse than usual (Super Bowl prep I guess). We watched the Super Bowl with mom and dad and had healthy snacks, turkey chil and whole wheat bbq chicken pizza--they were both yummy! I didn't really care who won the game, just was pulling for my numbers in the pool. I didn't win, but dad won BIG-$1000! It is the first time he has ever won ANYTHING, here he is celebrating his victory:

Also, Miss Priss turned 2 months on Sunday, which I just cannot believe. She is sitting in her walker some now and is starting to enjoy her swing a little. She also loves getting in the floor and playing on her play mat. She kicks her feet like crazy, just like Gabriel used to do. I am starting to get the dreads about going back to work..I know I will be fine once I get back into the swing of things, but I have so treasured this time at home with my babies. I am trying hard not to think about it and just enjoy the rest of my 2 1/2 weeks of freedom!

Here are a few pics from our week:
