Chapel Hill Trip

At the end of September (several weeks ago!), The 4 Moores headed to Chapel Hill for the Idaho/UNC football game. Thank you to Uncle Mark for giving us the tickets. Unfortunately the weather did not cooperate at all. It POURED down rain all day long! The game was at 3:30. We got to Chapel Hill around lunch time and had planned to tour the campus, Franklin Street, etc. before the game-we decided to skip this and head to Red R@bin for lunch in hopes that the rain would end before game time. It didn't so we decided to skip the game and head to our hotel room. Sitting out in the pouring rain with 2 kiddos would have been miserable for all of us.. Gabriel was happy about the rain because all he wanted to do was swim in the indoor pool! So we spent the day swimming at the pool and relaxing.  They did not have a non-smoking regular room so we got upgraded to a suite for free which was awsome. The next morning, it was beautiful of course. We headed up to Franklin Street and did a little shopping and touring. Everytime I go to Franklin it has changed. Now there is a Krispy Kreme, a Coldstone Creamery, and a Walgreens.  Good thing there was no KK when we were there!  After leaving Chapel Hill, we hit the outlets in Mebane on the way home.  They are very nice and have most of the stores that we love at the Myrtle Beach outlets.  We had a great time on our trip even though it did not turn out as we had planned!
