Blogger Babe Reunion Part 2

So we woke up feeling not our best (isn't that a nice way to say hungover?) about 9:30ish..I cannot believe I slept so late, but I guess that's what happens when you stay up until 2:30 in the morning and don't have any kiddos to wake you up! Our bed was so comfy which is very unusual for a hotel, I usually sleep horribly...Anyways, after lounging around and finally getting our showers, we headed uptown to lunch at Sutt@n's drugstore..It is an old-fashioned style drugstore with a yummy grill..Plus there are tons of pics all over the place of people that have eaten there over the years...some famous folks and bball players, some just students and visitors..It was fun to look at how the styles and hairstyles have changed over the years...Here we are at lunch:



A good cheesburger was just what we all needed to feel better. We headed to the mall in Durham and just spent our time leisuely looking for whatever...shorts, bras, housewares (goodness I love Crate and Barr*ll), skin care, make-up...I did a bra fitting and of course found out I was wearing the wrong size. I found a new kind of undies that I bought a pair of on reccomendation from Susan. I really like them and plan to get more..Laura, will tell you about these, think you will like them too, they remind me of our World's Best that we LOVED. Maybe this is just a girl thing, but it is really hard to find a good pair of underwear...or maybe I am just super picky. Everytime I find a style that I love, they stop making them. This has happened to me twice now..My first love was Warn#r's Colors to Go. Then Laura and I both loved "World's Best Intimates" from good ole Wally World. Both are no longer made of course :( But there is hope...I am wearing my new ones right now and I really like them! Better go out and buy a gazillion pairs before they discontinue them!

I did an oxygen facial treatmet at Seph(ra..We had the best person from Philos*phy helping us, her name was Valencia, she was fantastic. Wish she could have gone out with us later on that night, I think we all would have enjoyed each other. I usually do not like that kind of store or the people that work in it...I walk in there, have no idea what the heck all that stuff is or what to do with it and just feel UGLY..but you know Susan, she just walks right in and makes herself at home, starts trying stuff and talking to the sales people (and made me and Meme feel comfortable too)...I love that about her. After trying on bras, Susan and I headed to the cafe at Nordstr*m's for a sweet chai frozen blast thing that Susan always gets...After trying it, I see why, it was delish and gave us a little jolt of energy to do a little more shooping...While MeMe met up with her friend Stacy (they used to work together), we hit C &B. Here are some things I got..Didn't spend much at all, they have great prices. Love these little icecream/sorbet dishes and spoons, perfect for the kids to have ice cream out of (1.95 for set). I bought 3..Yes, I only have 2 children but may have 3 one day...If I don't, it won't matter if I have an extra. But if I do end up with another kiddo, he/she will need one of these cuties!



Also got these adorable juice glasses for .95 each, aren't they cute?



Ok, after all the fun at the mall, we headed to good ol' Targ@t to get little prizes to bring back for our kiddos...Then we went back to the room for some well-needed R and R before our night festivities...and that my friends will be Part 3 of the story...Good night!
