Well, it is a nasty, rainy Monday here. I was supposed to be heading up to the mountains today for work, but lucky for me, they called to reschedule for later in the month. It has been awhile since I have blogged...not sure why, other than that we have been busy and I have had 2 really bad colds and have been feeling like crap!
This past Friday I headed up to Chapel Hill to meet up with Susan for a 40th Speech and Hearing Anniversary...We had such a good time(minus the speech stuff, which sucked)! We checked into the Carolina Inn around 3, then headed to our favorite sushi place for dinner. After that we walked around campus and Franklin Street then were back in our pajamas at the hotel by 9:30 or so, we are old ladies and DO NOT CARE! I was starting to feel bad by then and slept horribly. We were both wide awake at 6 a.m. We went to our continuing education thing, which was AWFUL, then had lunch and headed for home. The professors that we had in graduate school have not changed at all. They are still full of themselves and living on CLOUD NINE, with no idea of how SLPs work and operate in the real world! Some things never change! We decided we will definitely meet up in Chapel Hill again, it is about halfway for both of us, but we will not be doing any more of the speech stuff!

Now--I am on a quest to get that damn CEU certificate.
I asked Kathy to get them for us.
I am going to call her and see if she did.
If not--I am calling that dept. and getting mine--I paid for that damn thing. :)

ugh...
AND when I was at the dr. he discovered my strange heart beat and did and EKG to send to the cardiologist!! eeeekkk!!
