Sleepover Fun

Ok, we had a great SNOW DAY yesterday! We all (me, Ceddy, Gaby, Rocky, Zach, Nicole, and Jackson) spent the night with mom and dad Saturday night. We stayed up late playing games, watching the boys play, and just hanging out. Mom fixed us a yummy breakfast casserole in the morning, then we all bundled up to go sledding. We used one real sled (borrowed from Grandma Dot) and a boogie board. The boogie board worked even better than the actual sled. Mom and dad have a new development nearby that has NO houses built in it yet (thanks to the great economy). The road is a great hill to sled on! Everyone got in on the fun, even mom and dad went sledding! I think the hill will be even better today and I am hoping to get back out there one more time before it all goes away.

My family stayed with mom and dad again last night due to the extreme cold. We don't have central heating and when it is THIS COLD, it is hard to get our house warm and cozy. I am working from mom and dad's today. I was supposed to go to the mountains today to visit a hospital, but of course, that has been rescheduled. The secondary roads here are a solid sheet of ice and I imagine things are even worse up in the mountains. Cedric has class, but he has a two hour delay. Mom's school is cancelled. Hopefully the roads will be better tomorrow, but I am not sure. They are calling for freezing rain and ice tonight, which is NO FUN. That usually means that the power is going to go out :(

Oh and I have had a BAD food weekend MeMe...Being snowed in was NOT good for me. I ate pizza for dinner last night (2 big pieces from UTs) and butter pecan ice cream for dessert! I am not going to my WW weigh in tonight, it will probably be cancelled anyway...so I have a week to work off the damage I did this weekend. Which could be difficult to do considering we have Jackson's birthday party on Saturday, Lucy's 21st birthday party Saturday night, and then the Super Bowl on Sunday....Plus I gotta get my big lazy butt back in the gym this week. I had planned to start back this morning but with the bad roads, it did not happen. If I get up at 6:00, I can be at the gym by 6:15, do 35 minutes of cardio, and be back home to begin my workday at 7:00....I used to get up at 6:00 or earlier every day when I worked for the schools. And sometimes with my new job I have to get up WAY earlier than that (say 4:00 to be up in the mountains by 7:30 for trainings). But on days when I am working from home, I have a tendency to sleep as late as possible. I am lazy I guess and I have never been one of those people who loves to exercise, it is more like a bad chore for me. But I am trying my best to at least make it 2 days this week, then I will try for 3 next week. I HATE TRYING TO BE HEALTHY, IT SUCKS!!!!

Yum Untouchables. I am very jealous! :)
I ate a whole bag of Quaker Rice Cheddar Crisps in one night. Oopsy. But have been better overall. Trying to plan our healthy snacks for the SuperBowl. you would think I would have that done with all this snow time! :)

This whole thing makes me laugh.
There is something about being snowed in that just makes me want to EAT!!!
Not starve and drink tea..
There are some good blue bunny ice cream pops that are one point and they are butter pecan (laxative) pops! :)
