September Already?

I can't believe it is already September, where the heck has this year gone?? I thought time moved much more quickly after having just one kid, but when you have two kiddos, it goes so fast you just can't keep up! Here is an update on what we have been up to:

* Campmeeting-Gabriel just LOVED it this year, even more than last year and was so sad it is over. Elizabeth enjoyed it too, she went all over in her sporty pink convertible.

* Switching daycares-Our place that we have really loved raised the prices once again. That makes 3 times this year and it was already the most expensive place around to begin with. We were out over the summer and when we came back, many of the kiddos we knew had left as well as teachers...So we started a new place this week and so far it has been great. And much easier on the pocket too, which is nice. It is not 5 stars-- but to tell you the truth, as long as they keep my kids happy, safe, diaper changed, and fed, I can handle the rest here at home :)

* House stuff- We have been getting all the loan stuff done to begin construction on our house...The closing is set for September 15th and after signing all those papers, it will be time! I can't even tell you how excited we are. Gabriel talks about his "new house" all the time and so do we. We have been picking out flooring, cabinets, countertops, etc...So much fun but so many decisions...And in the end, it better all look good because if it doesn't, you can only blame yourself because you picked it...I will put photo updates on here once things get started!

* Ceddy back to school- Cedric has started his FINAL semester of nursing school. Wow, he will graduate in December. So proud of him and all the hard work he has put in. This last semester is a rough one, I can already tell. So far he has already pulled two "all nighters" working on his clinical paperwork...I really don't know how he does it. I think I would end up falling asleep at the table!

* Labor Day weekend- We decided to stay here this year, we usually go to the beach. Sometimes it is nice just to be at home with nothing really planned. Tomorrow we will head to the lake for a cook out at lunch with the Parker/Holdsclaw clan...Then it all starts up again on Tuesday....I just wish things could slow down a little bit!
