Strawberry Shortcake Sprinkle for Elizabeth!

My mom's family had a "sprinkle" for Baby Elizabeth last Sunday. Let me tell you, it was much more of a "shower" than a "sprinkle"! We got SO many nice things for Elizabeth, including lots of diapers, wipes, and cute girly things! We also got some gift cards and cash which will REALLY come in handy once Elizabeth is here, we plan to use those for formula and diapers, which can get very expensive very FAST! Gabriel even got a few gifts just for him, including a bear from our preacher. He has named it Sparky and he has been taking care of it this week, he wraps it up in a blanket and it has been sleeping in Elizabeth's cradle!

Thank you so much to Aunt Carol, Aunt Rita, Melissa (aka MeMe), Aunt Christine (hope she is feeling better) and Maria for doing this for us and making it SOOOO special!!!!! And thank you to everyone who came, we are so appreciative. With this being our 2nd child, we certainly did not expect to have a shower, so this was just a WONDERFUL unexpected surprise!

The food was so yummy and of course strawberry themed: pink cupcakes, fresh strawberries with pink creamy dip, strawberry cheese ball, precious homemade strawberry shaped mints, and of course red punch (my favorite!). Also some delicious homemade pickles made by Aunt Rita. They are SOO good! The decorations were vintage Strawberry, including lots of stuff of Meme's. So much fun, thank you to everyone again for such a special party!

This looks like fun! Way to celebrate a baby! :) I love all the sTrawberry shortcake stuff! :)I still have my scratch and sniff book from 1982.
my mama still had our house until about ten years ago--she gave it away..
it had some plants that you pushed down and when you passed the watering can about them they would grow! Did y'all have that?
