Birthdate Picked!

We have officially scheduled my C-section for Monday December 6th at 7:00 a.m.! So that will be Miss Elizabeth's birthday unless she decides to make an earlier arrival (which I doubt will happen, she is probably like Gabriel and happy to stay in my big ole' belly as long as possible!). Speaking of big belly, man do I feel huge! I just cannot imagine what I am going to be looking like come December. On the health update, I had a good report at the doctor last Thursday. My test for gestational diabetes was negative, my BP had not gone up and I had no protein in my urine. Mom checked my BP last night and it was 110 over 70 which is great (too bad I am not feeling as great as that number would suggest--my feet have been swelling and I am just worn down, I feel like I just need an engergy boost!)....I am taking it as easy as possible and trying to keep the weekends as low key as I can. Tomorrow I am wanting to go and take some fall pics of Gabriel, it has been awhile since we have done any, hope he cooperates... This weekend we may go out to the Murrays Mill festival for a bit on Saturday and then will celebrate with Zach for his birthday on Saturday, but other than that, no big plans.

What else have we been up to? Not too much of anything. I have been pretty busy with work these days and Ceddy stays very busy with classes and clinical. We went to the Bandys game last Friday night and Gabriel had a blast! He sat with Uncle Block during the 2nd half of the game and they caught a small football from the cheerleaders. Then after the game, he got to go down on the field and play football with Jake, I wish I would have had my camera! Ceddy and I joined a fantasy football league and I got my first victory this weekend, it is VERY fun and I cannot believe that we have never done this before...I like to watch NFL football anyways, but this makes it even more interesting because you have a stake in many more of the games. This is especially good for me because it looks like the Panthers are on their way to another horrid season, unless Jimmy Clausen can begin to turn things around this week. I have Philip Rivers and Donovan McNabb as my two QBs (both hotties I might add, even though Rivers is a former Wolfpack), so I will be pulling for the Chargers and the Redskins this year!

On the craft front, I have been experimenting with bow-making. I bought a small bow at a bow boutique at a consignment sale for the sole purpose of examining it to see how to make them myself and I have been pretty successful making some bows of my own. There is no way I am going to pay the outrageous prices people charge for bows/hair accessories/etc for Elizabeth! I am pretty crafty and figure I can just make them myself! I will have to post some pics, the ones I have made so far are pretty cute!

Still waiting for it to cool off and also for pumpkin spice creamer to arrive in the stores, has anyone found it anywhere yet???? Gabriel and I are going to decorate for fall tomorrow, just wish the weather would cooperate and start to feel "fall-like". Hope everyone has a great weekend!!!!!

Dec. will be here before you know it, chica! Hang in there. I am glad the BP is staying in check. That is wonderful news...and no diabetes..that is a good sign.
Take care. :)
