Fall Fun

I love fall and we have just had so much fun this weekend. We hit the Bandys/Maiden game on Friday night and tailgated for awhile...As soon as we got in the game, it started raining though, so we had to leave...Gabriel and I could not survive the rain. I am sure Cedric would have stayed had we not been there, but he was sweet and took us home. Bandys did win though!

Last night, we went over to Robin's for an awesome pumpkin carving party. At the last minute, we decided to go in costume, so I got another chance to wear my pirate outfit...Funny story about my costume...I dressed as a pirate several years ago for an adult party. Pulled out this costume several weeks ago just to make sure it was still ok for this year....It wasn't! My how things have changed in a few years. This outfit looked like a pirate slut! If I moved at all you would be seeing my butt! No way would I take my little boy out trick or treating in that get-up! I guess being a mommy has changed me a little :) So I threw together some things I had with my pirate accessories for the modified pirate outfit, I think it turned out cute and will be much warmer than the little pirate dress. Man, I didn't remember it being trashy but I guess my perception has changed!!!!

Cedric wore part of his costume and is going to have on the full pirate ensemble on Halloween. We had a blast last night, just hanging out and enjoying some fun with our family and friends. Cedric carved an awesome monster pumpkin and the Mark Sigmon family brought an awesome "Luke" pumpkin!!! Today, we are having lunch at my mom and dad's, then probably a little football,then a birthday party for Trevor at Nonnie and Dwight's house. A fun weekend and looking foward to heading to Chapel Hill on Thursday for the UNC/FSU game!!!!
